Welcome to More Fine Wine!

Great wines are being made all over the world. Many countries with diverse climates and soil types are offering their version of the classic wine grapes, a gift from the vines. I have been fortunate to have experienced many of these great wines. But, I always seem to come back to the old style wines with subtle aromas that beckon another sniff and big smells that makes one wonder what the palate is in for. I love the wines that linger in the mouth and change as the seconds tick by, demanding another taste, just to make sure of what you thought you caught.

And so, I go to one of the world’s greatest wine regions, the Côtes du Rhone, in southern France, and bring back the wines from the many villages that have earned the distinction of “Côtes du Rhone Villages” and “Grand Cru”. I specialize in small, family-owned, estate wines, which represent both the “cepages” and the “terroir “of this classic region of the world. I work with many different winemakers from the area to represent the diverse capabilities of the world’s greatest examples of artisan wines!

Here in West Michigan, I offer small, private wine tastings to help you unravel the mysteries of the French Wine Experience. It is really not so complex, once you understand how it works.
